Where do I go?

The Downtown Campus Worship Center is located on 405 NE 6th Street and entry can be made from any side of the building. The Redwood Campus Building is located on 2193 Midway Ave (off Redwood Hwy). During summer, Redwood Campus will be meeting in the Redwood Amphitheater - located behind the building. The Murphy Campus meets at in the Lincoln Savage Middle School Cafeteria at 8551 New Hope Road.

Where should I park?

At the Downtown Campus, handicapped parking is available on the 7th Street side of the building. There are two other primary parking lots, one off 6th Street between C and D Streets, the other is off D Street between 6th and 7th Streets. Additionally, our other campuses have handicapped parking up front as well.

Let one of our friendly Greeters know it is your first time and they can direct you where the children go, where the restrooms are located or answer any other questions you might have.

Where do my kids go?

All of our campuses hold a Children’s Wing where children, birth through 5th grade, are taught God’s Word in a small group setting. Ask one of our Greeters where you to check-in your child. When you check-in your child you will be given a badge with the room number of where you are to take your child. For more information on our children’s programs visit our Children’s Ministry page. Also, be sure to check out our awesome Preschool & Childcare Center.

Students 6th -12th grade are encouraged to attend our regular weekend services. They may sit with you but are also welcome to sit with other students at the service. During the week they are encouraged to attend one of our Student Ministry Groups: Midway or CAD. To read more specifics about Midway or CAD, check out our Student Ministries.

What should I wear?

Whether you dress in slacks and dresses or jeans and a T-shirt we welcome you to come and join us as we worship our Lord and Savior.

Does the church have a coffee shop?

Yes, we do at our Downtown Campus! Jars of Clay is open Saturday & Sundays around service times and is located in the Worship Center Lobby on C & 7th Streets. Drip coffee is provided for free at our Redwood and Murphy Campuses.

Am I expected to put money in the offering?

Visitors are not expected to put money in the offering, please do so only if God places it on your heart. The offering is a time for our regular church family to give back to God out of gratitude for all His provisions.

Is there special assistance for the hearing impaired?

Downtown Campus: Special devices that allow you to control the volume of how you hear the services are available from the sound desk in the Worship Center.

If I miss a service how can I hear the message?

Absolutely! Saturday night teachings are posted Saturday evening, Sunday teachings are posted by Tuesday of the following week. You can watch the video or listen to our podcast on our Teachings page.

Where can I serve?

Jesus told us, his disciples, to make disciples of all nations. One of the most important values of River Valley Church is our mission to the world. It begins in our own community and spreads overseas to every nation. River Valley members are involved in a variety of ministries from things as simple as preparing church bulletins to minister to the needy. Click here to find out opportunities to serve.

What is the best way to get connected at River Valley?

Our Connecting Point membership class is designed to help you become familiar with our church and its ministries. It is very informal and questions are encouraged. Stay tuned for the next one scheduled. You can also ask your Campus Pastor about the next class.

How do I find out about Life Groups?

We strongly encourage all to be involved in a Life Group! Contact Dana Goens with your questions or to find out about the Life Groups in your area. Attending Connecting Point is also a great place to get an overview of our Life Group Ministry.

How do I find Specialty Life Groups that are being offered?

We have a variety of Specialty Life Groups, some of which require registration and some that do not. We advertise upcoming classes on our website, on social media, and in Worship Program given to you by our Greeters as you come to service. Visit our Specialty Life Groups page to see what is currently available. Contact Dana Goens with any questions you have about Specialty Life Groups.
