THE REASON
It’s said that we were created to worship, and that we can worship God through every facet of our lives. If we choose to live our lives as 24/7 worshipers, it radically changes who we are. When we see worship as something more than church attendance, our weekend services become the icing on our cake, not the cake itself. At RVCC we recognize each person’s individual journey and pursuit of God. We desire for you to worship each day wherever you find yourself. We also recognize the encouraging role of our weekend gatherings.HOW IT LOOKS
In light of these dynamics we approach our corporate gatherings by presenting an environment where all journeying worshipers can come together to see God receive the glory, honor, attention and adoration. Our goal is to help our fellowship do that every week through the use of voices, instruments, scripture reading, photography, videos and even times of stillness. All are encouraged to come as you are, and give your worship to the Creator of all things. He alone is worthy of all we can give, at our celebration services, and every day and place we take each breath!Here are some resources the Worship/Media Ministry has to help you on your worshiping journey:
RADIO
Weekly radio broadcasts provide a powerful message in word and song on KAJO 1270 AM, Sundays at 11:00 am, KAPK 91.1 FM, Sundays at 5:00 pm, KDOV 88.1 FM, Sundays at 8:00 pm, and weekly podcasts and downloadable MP3’s are posted on our website (www.rivervalleycc.org).MUSIC
We have recorded two RVCC Worship Band CD’s full of many songs we sing available in the RVCC office. Our Worship Pastor Michael Bahn has also recorded two personal worship CD’s also available at the RVCC office, Evangel Family Bookstores and www.michaelbahn.com.RESOURCES
