Our goal is to teach children that Jesus loves them and wants to be their best friend. The Bible is our curriculum...printed materials and programs are our resources...and adult volunteers are our living examples, demonstrating the love of God and life changing principles to your children. - Children's Pastor (Chuck Kostrna, 476-7761): Oversees all aspects of ministries available to our children from birth through 5th grade.
- Child Care Center Director ("N.J." Kimball, 476-1758): Our Child Care Center provides day care and an education experience in a warm, friendly atmosphere for children 8 weeks of age through pre-school.
- Green Acres Sunday Pre-Kindergarten Ministry Director (Rosa Galli, 476-7761): Oversees and implements ideas and curriculum to enhance sharing Jesus with our Pre-K children.
- Cradle Roll (Edna Matulaitis, 476-7761): A ministry to the parents of newborns that provides a special gift, parental tips, and developmental information for the first two years of the baby’s life. For more information, call the Children’s Ministry Office at 476-7761.
- Calico Street Grade School Director (Denise Oden, 476-7761): Oversees this Christ centered ministry that delivers messages from God's word through the use of skits, music, puppetry and small group discussions.
- Boy Scouts Director (Greg Armstrong, 471-1943): Teaching young men 11-18 years of age to be godly leaders by utilizing a variety of skills
- Paid Childcare Director: (Joan Loss, 476-7761) Loving, caring for, and spiritually nurturing children while freeing up parents to be involved in other ministries.
- Special Needs Director (Toshi Williams, 476-7761) River Valley is privileged to offer this ministry, which allows the families of special needs children to attend service, knowing their child is also hearing about Jesus. Call the Children's Ministry office at 476-7761 to set up a time to meet together to enable us to minister effectively and personally to your child.
- Kids 4 Christ Director (Lynn Kremer, 476-7761) For 4th & 5th Graders get together for meaningful worship, fellowship and explore and discuss insights into God’s Word, with a big emphasis on hands-on Bible study. For more information, call the Children’s Ministry Office at 476-7761.
