Special Events:

• Great Egg Hunt: The Hunt is on the Saturday before Easter at 10 a.m. at Lawnridge Park--rain or shine.  There are always plenty of eggs for kids of all ages with a special areas for toddlers and pre-schoolers.  Also, please join us for a fun-filled family time on the Wednesday evening before Easter to express your creativity and decorate eggs for the Hunt.  The kids are really excited when they find one of the eggs they decorated.
  
  
• Winter Camp: An overnight sleep-over at the church for 3rd through 6th graders to have fun with spcial events, recreation, music and more. This fun-filled yet meaningful time provides kids the opportunity to build relationships with each other and make new friends with the same desire to know Jesus better.
  
  
• Summer Camp:  Pprovides overnight camping for River Valley's 2nd through 6th grade children with a wonderful opportunity to build closer relationships with other children in our church.  All events are focused on the aspect of knowing Jesus better while having a great time experiencing meaningful time in God's word, recreation, outdoor adventures, crafts, music and more.
  
  
• Green Acres Day Camp:  Children 3 years old through Kindergarten (must be potty trained) meet here at River Valley to focus on Jesus' love for children and how they can share His love with others.  They enjoy interactive games, crafts, music and much more.
  
  
• Family Camp (Fall): Labor Day Weekend, located at Box R Ranch, 1 hour south of Grants Pass. Enjoy sleeping in a Native American dwelling - the teepee! This is a wonderful opportunity for quality family time before the hustle and bustle of the school year.
  
  
• Children's Ministries Workshop: Held in the fall, sponsored by Rogue Valley Children's Ministries, an informative day of workshops and seminars with local and nationally renowned speakers, enabling children's leaders from all over Southern Oregon to come and sharpen their ministry skills.
  
  
• Fall Family Festival: Our single largest community outreach event for children and families on October 31 provides an alternative to traditional Halloween.  Games, prizes, food and good clean fun are the focus of this friendly, family, outdoor environment.
  
  
• Preschool Christmas Program: Preschool children participate in the wonder of Jesus' birth by dressing in costume and sharing Christmas songs during our holiday weekend service.
